Academic Excellence

UC Berkeley is a university that offers 106 undergraduate majors, 88 master's programs, and 97 doctoral-level research programs. Many companies in Silicon Valley (the region where the university is located) invest in research developed at UC Berkeley. The business school, for example, is the second oldest in the United States, having produced numerous figures who have influenced the global economy.

Berkeley is a very charming city located in the state of California, in the western region of the United States. Within the UC Berkeley campus, there are several tourist attractions, such as the Berkeley Clock Tower, the Doe Library – one of the most extensive libraries in the United States – and the Golden Bear Stadium.

How does
selective process

The selection process will be conducted by a panel.
The evaluator will follow these steps:

1- Receipt of the Registration Form

2- Document analysis

3- Individual interview with the examining board

4- Result disclosure

5- Signing of a Commitment Agreement

The result will be announced on the day 04 July 2025 through IDP's official channels.

WHO CAN
TO PARTICIPATE?

Students who meet the following requirements may participate in the program:

To be regularly enrolled in an undergraduate course at IDP.

Be over 18 years old

To meet the English language proficiency requirements of UC Berkeley.

To be up-to-date with financial obligations related to IDP.

To have completed at least two full academic semesters at IDP.

It is also worth noting that the level of proficiency required by the institution
is de 90 points on the TOEFL, 7.0 on the IELTS, or 125 points on Duolingo.

Students selected for the program are exempt from paying tuition fees.

1 - Registrations

Registration will be open from May 26, 2025 to June 30, 2025.

The program will have the regularly scheduled duration of one academic semester.

Up to 10 vacancies

The total tuition fees payable by students amount to US$12.375, as required by the course load set by UC Berkeley. If a student takes more courses than the minimum required by the institution, the total amount paid in fees will vary.

Students are allowed to take courses from departments other than their own department at IDP. For example, International Relations students can take courses in Law, Economics, or Business Administration.
It is important to highlight that the validation of the courses to be taken must be done in conjunction with the Coordination at IDP, for the purpose of credit transfer.
