Federal tax revenue adjusted for inflation Dec/24

The Macro-fiscal Center releases data on federal tax revenue for the year 2024. The federal tax revenue deflator reached 5,73%, 90 basis points above the accumulated IPCA rate for the year. In year-on-year terms, deflated revenue slowed in December, registering a variation of 6,9% compared to December 2023. Looking at the sector, the continued strong growth in revenue in the industrial sector stands out, although a slowdown is observed in the service sector. From a regional perspective, revenue shows greater robustness in the Southeast region.
