Federal tax revenue adjusted for inflation Nov/24

The Macro-fiscal Center releases federal tax revenue data for November 2024. For the second consecutive month, the weighted deflator of federal tax revenue exceeds the IPCA (Brazilian consumer price index), reaching 5,34% in the accumulated 12 months. Deflated revenue continues to register growth close to 10% in the year-on-year comparison, with emphasis on the expansion of PIS/Cofins taxes, Personal and Corporate Income Tax, and IPI (Brazilian tax on industrialized products). In the breakdown by sector, a recovery in deflated revenue from the industrial sector is observed.
