Registration for Pre-College has begun! This is an initiative from IDP's undergraduate programs, aimed at introducing high school students to the day-to-day life of a university student. To this end, IDP has put together a diverse program, drawing on innovative courses recently adopted internationally.
What is Pre-College Winter Camp?
This is a series of winter courses in diverse areas of knowledge, taking place in July and lasting two weeks. The content is proposed by the IDP schools as a whole, including subjects such as law, communication, administration, and economics. The Pre-College program is also offering courses in these areas.
How will it work?
Those interested can apply to take four courses of their choice and must wait for a response regarding their approval before they can participate. Applicants may take a maximum of two of their chosen courses.
Regarding the complexity of the courses, high school students don't need to worry about that, as we aim to provide advanced content while also ensuring accessibility and effective learning.
Each course will last 5 days, from Monday to Friday, varying between the times of 9 am to 11 am and 15 pm to 17 pm. The courses will take place in two sessions on the following dates:
- July 12th to July 16th – 1nd week
- July 26th to July 30th – 2nd week

Selective Process
To participate in the Pre-College Winter Camp, interested individuals must apply for the selection process, which consists of three stages:
1 – Course Selection: Candidates must select up to [number] courses of their preference, highlighting their order of priority. In addition, documents are required for the evaluation team to review, including proof of enrollment, an essay or video presentation discussing a topic of their own choosing;
2 – Payment of a registration fee of R$50,00; and
3 – Receiving the result regarding the approval or rejection of the selection process.
If approved, you will receive notification of which courses you will be able to take.
It is important to note that applications will be evaluated by our admissions team. Given the large volume of applications received so far, IDP does not guarantee a place on any of the courses offered.
