why study Architecture and
Urban planning today?

Architecture and urban planning are at the heart of major contemporary challenges: creating smart, sustainable, and inclusive cities capable of improving people's quality of life.

An architect is a professional who combines creativity, technique, and innovation to design spaces that transform daily life—from buildings and houses to entire urban landscapes. It is a constantly evolving profession that incorporates new technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and cutting-edge digital tools to design the future.

According to UN-Habitat, more than 55% of the world's population already lives in urban areas, and by 2050 this number will reach 70%. The world needs architects capable of devising innovative and sustainable solutions for this scenario.
