Since 2015, IDP and Università degli Studi Roma Tre have been working together to promote joint initiatives for teaching, research, and outreach in the field of Law. In December 2024, this partnership reached a new level with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement for the joint implementation of a Double Degree Program in Law.
Law students at IDP will be able to simultaneously obtain a Bachelor of Laws degree from IDP and an equivalent degree from the Università degli Studi Roma Tre in Italy (Laurea Magistrale a Ciclo Unico in Giurisprudenza). With this IDP degree, they will be able to take the bar exam in Italy to practice law in all countries of the European Union (according to the specific rules of each country), including in EU public bodies.
Academic excellence: The Università degli Studi Roma Tre (Roma Tre University) is a renowned public institution of higher education located in Rome, Italy. Its Dipartimento di Giurisprudenza (Law Department) is widely recognized for its excellence in undergraduate, master's, and doctoral legal education.
International experience: The university values the integration of international students, with a highly internationalized and multicultural academic community. Furthermore, Rome is home to several international organizations that maintain close collaboration with the university.
Students selected through IDP's annual selection process will study for one academic year in Rome (two academic semesters), with a study plan defined jointly with the partner university;
Courses successfully completed in Italy are credited towards academic achievement at IDP.
The Final Course Project (TCC) will be supervised by a professor from each institution and written in Portuguese or English;
After approval of the final course project, IDP will issue the Bachelor of Laws degree and Università degli Studi Roma Tre will issue the diploma of... Laurea Magistrale a Ciclo Unico in Giurisprudenza, Recognized by the Italian government and valid throughout the European Union.
The final result will be announced on the days December 23, 2025 (1st Registration Block) and February 10, 2026 (2nd Registration Block) through IDP's official channels.
Selected students must successfully complete all required courses in the first two years (first, second, third, and fourth semesters, according to the current Curriculum Matrix for the IDP Law Degree).
Registration will be open during the 17/11/2025 a 28/01/2026.

The program will have the regular duration stipulated for the IDP Law degree. The period in Italy corresponds to one academic year (2 academic semesters).
