The Center for Studies in Global Politics (CEPG) is an academic group focused on research and dissemination of knowledge on contemporary international issues. Based on critical, decolonial, and interdisciplinary perspectives, CEPG seeks to understand the challenges and transformations of world politics in areas such as global governance, human rights, climate, migration, and the international economy.
Based at IDP, the Center promotes bi-weekly debates and reports, as well as events with national and international experts. Its objective is to contribute to a situated analysis, from the Global South, on the direction of the international order, exploring the impacts of multipolarity, new technologies, and global crises on societies and the State.
