Research current topics in International Law and International Relations, with special emphasis on International Environmental Law (international responsibility for transboundary environmental damage, climate change, biodiversity, law of the sea, etc.) and International Humanitarian Law (humanitarian crisis and refugees, the role of the Red Cross, the use of drones as a method of combat, war crimes, the International Criminal Court, etc.). The focus given to these two branches of international law does not preclude the study of other equally important topics, such as the right to development, international trade, human rights, the fight against transnational corruption, peacekeeping and the role of the UN, the International Court of Justice, terrorism, etc.
