STJ Observatory: original proceedings, appeals filter and special appealability.

The "STJ Observatory" Research Group aims to promote academic studies and discussions on important and current issues related to the exercise of constitutional jurisdiction, particularly regarding the development of procedural and appeal mechanisms of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ). The focus is on the standardization of jurisprudence and the strengthening of the system of binding precedents, emphasizing, among other things, the analysis of topics such as repetitive litigation and the relevance filter. The debate, along with the resulting academic and scientific production arising from the issues raised, is the central objective of this group. Research will be developed based on doctrine—both classical and contemporary, national or comparative—of Civil Procedural Law and Constitutional Jurisdiction, considering the nomofilactic and uniformizing competence of federal law attributed to the STJ.
