The Research Group on the American Supreme Court (GPSCOTUS), of the Brazilian Institute of Public Law, seeks to foster reflection, debate, and the production of academic articles on i) the functioning and decision-making process of the US Supreme Court, ii) landmark decisions of the Court, and iii) the relationship of these decisions with the Brazilian legal system. To this end, it will rely on the direct participation of professors and researchers in the field, responsible for presenting and discussing landmark cases, and students who will be fundamental in fostering debate and research on the topics to be analyzed.
