AREAS OF INTEREST

Our methodology has two main characteristics:

Case Studies

One of the main characteristics of the MPAP is its teaching methodology, which, in addition to a solid theoretical foundation, pays special attention to the analysis of case studies and practical applications of knowledge to public management.

In this way, the aim is to expose students, from the first semester onwards, to real-world examples of management techniques and innovative public policies implemented around the world.

Concentrated classes on Fridays and Saturdays

The courses are offered in a concentrated format at the following times:

Friday

  • 14:00 pm - 17:40 pm
  • 18:30 pm - 22:00 pm

Saturday

  • 9:00 pm - 12:40 pm
  • From 14 to 17

Following the regular schedule, the student is expected to complete the required coursework in the first year of the Master's program, with an average of 24 two-day class sessions.

Trajectory in the course

A modern and integrated curriculum.

In many schools, Master's programs are highly theoretical and specialized.

At IDP, it's not just about what students know, but what they do with that knowledge. We structure our curriculum to offer in-depth technical knowledge in the most relevant areas from the perspective of what students will do after completing their Master's degree.

In the first semester, we offer students a solid foundation in subjects across four key areas of knowledge necessary for an excellent professional in the public sector: Public Administration, Law, Economics, and Research Methodology.

In subsequent semesters, students have complete freedom to choose the subjects that interest them most, both from an academic and professional standpoint.

Check out your learning journey at IDP:

1st Semester

In the first semester, students take basic mandatory courses in the areas of Public Administration, Law, Economics, and Research Methodology.

2st Semester

In the second semester, students take elective courses of their choice from the different areas of interest offered in the Master's program (public policies, government management, regulation, control and combating corruption, and judicial management). They also continue their studies in Research Methodology, which will culminate in the preparation of their Dissertation Project.

3st Semester

In the third semester, students continue to take elective courses. With the submission of the Project at the end of the 2nd semester, the mentoring activity begins with one of the permanent professors of the Master's program.

3st Semester

In the third semester, students continue to take elective courses. With the submission of the Project at the end of the 2nd semester, the mentoring activity begins with one of the permanent professors of the Master's program.
