The IDP School of Methods is an initiative aimed at the methodological training of researchers in social sciences and related fields, focusing on master's and doctoral students. Its main objective is to provide solid theoretical and practical knowledge for conducting empirical research with high scientific rigor. The School of Methods covers the study of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies with courses taught by professors from IDP and other leading institutions in Brazil and abroad.
Stay informed about upcoming classes! Leave your email and receive the latest news from the School of Methods first-hand.
The courses at the School of Methods are free and offered every semester. Information is released at least one month in advance on our website, via email, and through our WhatsApp group.
With just one registration per semester, you guarantee access to all courses offered in that module (first or second semester). Registration is open to the entire interested community — students, professors, and researchers from any higher education institution in Brazil and abroad can participate.
In case of excess demand, priority is given to graduate students from IDP.
The courses are offered online live, via the Zoom platform. Classes take place three times a week, generally on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, in the last week of the month. Those with 100% attendance can request a certificate of completion. Recordings are only available to IDP graduate students (stricto sensu) upon request to the coordinator. All participants receive the materials indicated by the professor during the classes.
