One of the main characteristics of the MEGE program is its teaching methodology focused on the practical application of acquired knowledge. The Master's program stands out for its interdisciplinary academic structure, which systematically integrates economic theory, regulatory analysis, financial strategy, and data science. The goal is to train professionals capable of navigating the complexity of the sector and leading its continuous professional development.
Furthermore, the course has monthly classes, concentrated on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, in order to allow the participation of professionals who seek to reconcile their participation in the master's program with their professional practice.

The main distinguishing feature of the Master's program in Sports Economics and Management is, without a doubt, the qualifications of the faculty, composed of professors who, in addition to standing out for their high and diverse academic qualifications, are also characterized by performing relevant functions in the course's subject matter, whether in finance, sports management, and/or data science.
This is a fundamental aspect of the program, since it allows students to present, analyze, and discuss ways to apply the tools.
The theoretical aspects presented in each of the disciplines are applied to the reality of the sports sector.
This emphasizes the "professional" nature of the course. In addition to their academic qualifications, the professors bring professional experiences that enrich the learning process, offering real-world examples and applied discussions.
Track 1 establishes the indispensable conceptual and methodological foundation for a critical analysis of the sector. The course develops the student's ability to understand sport as an economic phenomenon, examining both the principles that govern its organization.
markets and the structure of their leagues, as well as their aggregate impact on social and economic development.
Building upon the program's analytical foundation, Track 2 delves deeper into the institutional and regulatory structures governing the sports industry. The focus is on the economic analysis of the rules, investigating the logic and effects of interventions aimed at ensuring the financial sustainability of organizations, the integrity of competitions, and competitive balance.
Track 3 delves deeper into the management of sports organizations, focusing on strategic formulation and the creation of sustainable value. Financial analysis is integrated with a strategic management vision, addressing governance models, long-term planning, and the alignment between the commercial and sporting areas of the club. Additionally, the track explores how data analysis and business metrics can inform and optimize decision-making in the front office. By the end, the student will be able to lead the financial and strategic planning of sports entities.
