The project aims to interview up to 10 experts to discuss concessions, licensing, public-private partnerships, and logistics.
According to the project coordinator, Eduardo Paracencio, the initiative will focus on the priority themes of the Federal Government in 2019. “Brazil lacks better infrastructure in various areas of the economy, as evidenced by the truckers' strike this year. There is a strong trend towards investment in railways with support from the BRICS bank. There is also a trend towards restructuring the current regulatory agencies with the merger of Antaq, ANTT, and Anac. Therefore, our idea at Enap is to conduct 10 interviews with experts to promote debates on infrastructure in Brazil,” explains Eduardo.
The project is a means of making the public and private sectors reflect on their practices and how to improve them. "The project is basically about disseminating knowledge about public procurement, including in the area of infrastructure," explains the Prosecutor.
The first episode of the series is now available, featuring an interview with Paul Procee, Coordinator of Infrastructure Operations and Sustainable Development at the World Bank in Brazil. The interview discussed sustainable development and medium- and long-term investments in Brazil. The next participants in the series will be Adalberto Santos de Vasconcelos, Special Secretary of the Investment Partnerships Program Secretariat, and Arthur Luis Pinho De Lima, Manager of Bidding and Contracts at EPL.
We encourage our students to always pursue their goals, and that's why we're proud when we see projects come to life. Congratulations, Daniel! IDP is proud to be a part of your story.
