The debate championship, held in Belo Horizonte and open to all debate societies in Brazil, had 120 debaters, 32 adjudicators, 13 volunteers/organizers, and 21 registered listeners.
The IDP Debating Society sent a delegation of 18 members, including students Tainara Borges, Bianca Lettieri, Marcelo Sarmento, Luiza Rodrigues Teixeira, and João Gabriel Costa Alves, along with Professor Olívia Freitas. AlexandreAna Clara, Guilherme Lima, Flávia Taiane, Rodrigo Guedes, Natália Arume, Davi Marques-Novik, Cristiane Guedes, Gabrielle Farias, José Lima, Arthur Miranda and Renato Lima.
