On November 22nd, undergraduate law students from the institution won the... II Bahia Electoral Law Olympiad, which seeks to encourage the study and practice of law within Brazilian universities.
The competition consists of a written presentation and two oral presentations on a fictional case provided by the event organizers. After the three stages, the students were crowned champions by a judging committee composed of the director of EJE/BA, Judge Carmem Lúcia Pinheiro, the ombudsman judge, Antônio Oswaldo Scarpa, and the electoral prosecutor, Cláudio Gusmão.
This is not the first time that Search group The Electoral Law team from IDP, tutored by Dr. Daniel Falcão, has won an award at a competition outside of Brasília. The team also achieved 3rd place in the 1st Electoral Law Competition at Faculdade Milton Campos, in Minas Gerais, funded by [organization name missing]. Research and Study Groups in Law
Research and Study Groups are two of IDP's distinguishing features. Since the Undergraduate Studies until the Doctoral ProgramOur students are encouraged to participate in discussion groups. Currently, the institution has more than 30 of these groups, in order to further empower students and encourage scientific production within the faculty.
This is an opportunity where those interested can learn, converse, and discuss with Master's and Doctoral level professors, as well as leading experts in all areas of Law.
