According to IDP Professor Marcelo do Val, who, despite participating as a visiting exchange student at the university, also taught classes, "I exchanged experiences with the professors and taught classes to Brazilian students to contextualize European constitutional law and jurisdiction from a Brazilian perspective through the application of the comparative method," explains the Professor.
The students attended classes with some of the leading experts in European Constitutional Law, such as Professor Francisco Balaguer, Professor Miguel Azpitaria, and Professor Augusto Aguilar. The course aimed to develop in students a critical analysis of legal systems in their original legal frameworks.
During the afternoons, the students went on sightseeing tours to learn more about the local culture. Places like the city's Cathedral, La Santa Iglesia Metropolitan Cathedral of the Incarnation of Granada a work of the Spanish Renaissance, the Royal Chapel, where the Catholic monarchs were buried and the city's museum.
