We started with the idea of bringing all ADFAS Associates and supporters closer together through the analysis of a specific theme, to allow for in-depth discussion from a comparative perspective. We chose the theme of de facto unions. (common-law marriage), inviting professors from Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay), the European continent (Spain and Portugal), and the African continent (Angola), in addition to the participation of Brazilian professors.
