The call for proposals for statements by the Center for Judicial Studies of the Federal Justice Council (CEJ/CJF) is now open, to be analyzed during the IX Civil Law Conference.

A new feature of the 9th edition is the inclusion, for the first time, of digital law topics through the Digital Law and New Rights Commission, which will be chaired by Minister Ricardo Villas Bôas Cueva of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) and will include the participation of professors Laura Schertel Mendes and Danilo Doneda, alongside federal judge Caroline Tauk. “For the first time, we have a group dedicated to digital law, which encompasses very important contemporary topics such as the protection of personal data, the use of artificial intelligence, smart contracts, cryptocurrencies, digital inheritance, the sharing economy, and others,” says Cueva.

The event will take place on May 19th and 20th of this year, in the CJF auditorium in Brasília.
