Professor Atalá Correia will assume the Coordination of the Undergraduate Law Program.
After four years leading the Coordination of the Undergraduate Law Program at EDAB/IDP, Professor Marcelo Proença will leave the position to join the faculty of the IDP's Academic Master's and Doctoral Programs.
During his time as Undergraduate Coordinator, Professor Marcelo Proença led the reform of the curriculum, implemented innovative teaching and research practices, and promoted important additions to the faculty. During his tenure, IDP consolidated itself as one of the best higher education institutions in the country, achieving first place in the OAB Exam in the Federal District, obtaining the highest score in the MEC evaluation, and receiving outstanding mentions in various specialized publications.
Professor Atalá Correia, who has been a member of the IDP faculty for over ten years, will take his place. Professor Atalá holds a Master's and Doctorate in Civil Law from the University of São Paulo and is a Judge in the Federal District. He has previously served as Academic Coordinator at IDP, having worked in the Lato Sensu Postgraduate, Master's, and Doctoral programs.
IDP thanks Professor Marcelo Proença for his dedication, care, and competence in leading the Undergraduate Law program and wishes him success in his journey as a Professor in the Master's and Doctoral Programs.
