The research group "CIVIL PROCEDURE IN LIGHT OF THE 1988 FEDERAL CONSTITUTION" led by Professor Luiz Rodrigues Wambier We are currently accepting applications for new researchers.

The purpose of this research group is to promote debate on controversial issues arising from a constitutional perspective on the 2015 Code of Civil Procedure. Research will primarily focus on new and/or controversial issues resulting from the understanding and application of new legal concepts introduced by the CPC. The central objective of this study group is to foster debate and, as issues arise, the resulting academic and scientific output. Research will be developed based on classical and contemporary doctrine in Civil Procedural Law and Constitutional Law, as well as the interpretation given by the Superior Courts to the new procedural legislation.
