The Brazilian Institute for Teaching, Development and Research (IDP) will be present at IAJus 2026 – the Integration Meeting on Artificial Intelligence in the Judiciary, which will be held on April 24th in Brasília, at the initiative of the National Council of Justice (CNJ).
The event, promoted by the National Committee for Artificial Intelligence in the Judiciary (CNIAJ), aims to foster integration between courts and councils, as well as promote the exchange of experiences and solutions related to the development, implementation, sustainability, and governance of artificial intelligence in the Brazilian justice system.
The program will bring together authorities and experts to discuss the strategic use of AI in the Judiciary. Among the highlights is the participation of IDP director Laura Schertel Mendes, a national reference in debates on data protection and regulation of digital technologies, reinforcing the Institute's contribution to discussions on innovation and governance in the public sector.
Throughout the day, institutional and thematic panels will be held addressing, among other topics, the implementation of artificial intelligence in courts, workflow automation, judicial decision support, and applications aimed at improving services provided to citizens. The agenda also includes the launch of Sinapses 2.0, as well as initiatives aimed at strengthening AI policy in the Judiciary.
IAJus 2026 is aimed at judges, court staff, technical teams, and professionals in the areas of technology, innovation, and governance, establishing itself as a strategic space for the advancement of artificial intelligence in the Brazilian justice system.
