The course aims to provide master's students with theoretical and practical training in the areas of Economics, Finance, Regulation, and Economic Analysis of Law, with the objective of training professionals capable of aligning theoretical, methodological, and practical knowledge so that they can contribute directly to their areas of work, whether in public or private institutions.
According to José Luiz Rossi, Coordinator of the Master's Program in Economics at IDP, the course aims to train highly skilled professionals.The master's degree will give students a competitive edge in the job market, increasing their ability to work in different areas through in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge. Furthermore, the IDP course has an updated curriculum that reflects market demands, increasing its competitiveness,” explains the professor.
The program's faculty consists of experts who excel professionally in their respective fields from both the private and public sectors, including professors trained at some of the world's most prestigious universities, such as the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK), Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT (USA), Yale University (USA), Berkeley University of California (USA), and Columbia University (USA).
The Master's program lasts 24 months, with classes held on Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings/afternoons. The program includes 5 mandatory courses and 7 electives from an extensive list offered to students, allowing them to tailor the course to their area of interest.
