The 13th edition of the Seminar will be held on November 16, 2023, at 9 am, in the IDP North Campus Theater, with the theme Financial Digitization and State ModernizationOver the years, the Seminar has become a benchmark channel for deepening debates on the country's public agenda. It is a discussion forum that brings together leading figures in Brazilian public administration and economics to discuss the most emerging, current, and challenging issues in the management of the Brazilian state.
In addition to bringing together leading figures from academia and public administration, the Seminar will feature Working Groups (WG) that will receive articles, essays, and technical reports from graduate students, academics, and professionals linked to administration, economics, and technology.
According to Professor Paulo Castro, deputy coordinator of the Professional Master's Program in Public Administration at IDP, "the Seminar is an excellent opportunity for integration between academia and public management to discuss relevant topics for improving the public sector." We also highlight that "this year's event has as its main backdrop the theme of innovation, debating essential transformations such as innovations in finance, the Digital Real, and the modernization of public management," commented Professor Milton Mendonça, a professor in the Master's Program in Public Administration at IDP.

We also announce that the deadline for submissions of papers has been extended to November 12th.
