The institution offers the following courses: Professional Master's in Law, Professional Master's in Public Administration – Public Policies and Government Management, and Professional Master's in Economics, Public Policies and Development. Applications close in June.
According to Magistrate and IDP Professor, Atalá Correia, "The master's degree represents an important stage in professional development, in which the student is invited to propose investigations and develop research of interest to the scientific community. By successfully defending their proposals, the student demonstrates the ability to think ahead of their time and to lead," explains the Doctor.
According to Caio Resende, Coordinator of the Professional Master's Program in Public Administration and PhD in Economics, a master's degree is very important in today's job market: “A master's degree is a great differentiator. Both in the job market, as it signals the professional's interest, dedication, and competence in their respective field, and in academia, allowing future masters graduates to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. The trend is for educational institutions, especially those with high standards of teaching quality, to increasingly prioritize the hiring of Masters and PhDs,” explained the professor.
Regular courses are developed over 24 months, with subjects offered every two months. Classes are held fortnightly, on Fridays (afternoon/evening) and Saturdays, allowing interested students to combine their participation in the master's program with their professional practice.
In addition to taking classes with Ministers, Judges, Appellate Judges, and other prominent figures, the program offers master's students numerous opportunities for exchange programs and participation in national and international conferences, as well as research groups, article presentation forums, coaching programs, and more.
