This work was conceived to discuss the necessary steps for the effective implementation of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) through the analysis of the most important institutes incorporated by the new law, with a focus predominantly on legal practice, seeking to anticipate possible scenarios, as well as the potentially more complex implementation points, in view of the experience of other countries.
To launch this important work, we invite everyone to participate in the Webinar: Paths to the Effectiveness of the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), which will be held on September 2nd and 3rd on Conjur's YouTube channel. The event will bring together several authors and experts who will discuss the implementation of the new law from 4 fundamental perspectives: the ANPD (National Data Protection Authority), the fundamental right to data protection, data protection through technology, and the importance of accountability.
