The event, promoted by ENAP – the National School of Public Administration – seeks to reward teams of public servants who contribute innovations to the improvement of the State. The evaluation for the winners will take place until August, and the event is scheduled for October 2019.
The professor explains that the event aims for what is best for the country's public administration.Thinking “outside the box” is fundamental for those working in a sector as challenging as the public sector. However, we must never forget our basic mission, the “bread and butter,” which is to serve the population in the best way possible. Our daily challenge is to reconcile the routine of attending to the demands of society with the creativity to create, test, and implement innovative solutions applicable to these routines,” comments the Professor.
According to the professor, his experience in IDP classrooms contributes to carrying out this type of work.Teaching means not becoming obsolete and never considering oneself the "owner of the truth." Every time a student asks a challenging question, we study, learn, and teach. It's a cycle where both teacher and student benefit from the learning. To perform the managerial functions I currently carry out in the public sector, teaching undergraduate courses in Public Administration means always being in contact with quality literature on the subject that guides all our activities. We always try to apply this assimilated knowledge to improve service delivery," adds the professor.
For the Academic, it is a great honor to be able to participate as an evaluator in this competition. The feeling is one of gratitude for the recognition of an academic, professional, and personal trajectory, in constant construction, which has been dedicated to improving public management. It is undoubtedly a source of great pride, and something I receive as a valuable mission resulting from dedication to the cause of improving public service,” concludes the Master.
We at IDP are extremely grateful to have professionals specialized in so many areas and, above all, to have so many professionals who excel in their respective fields of expertise! Congratulations, Professor Alex! It is an honor to have you on our faculty![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″ el_class=”sideRightPost”][vc_widget_sidebar sidebar_id=”sidebar”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” equal_height=”yes” el_id=”courses-page-box-5″ css=”.vc_custom_1526064800224{margin-top: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;background-image: url(http://homologacao.idp.edu.br/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/bn_contato_idp-1980×300-1.jpg?id=5274) !important;background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}” el_class=”postCTA”][vc_column][themeum_action alignment=”left” title=”STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?” title_style=”customstyle” title_heading=”h2″ title_size=”20″ title_color=”#ffffff” title_weight=”800″ title_margin=”53px 0 0″ title_padding=”0″ btn_position=”btnright” btntext=”CONTACT US” btnurl=”/contact/” btntype=”white” btnsize=”btn-lg”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
