IDP PROFESSOR LAUNCHES BOOK ON THE TEMPORAL EFFECTIVENESS OF TAX JUDGMENT

Claudio Xavier Seefelder Filho, a former Master's student and Professor of Postgraduate Studies at IDP, is the author of a new academic publication, entitled: Constitutional Jurisdiction and the Temporal Effectiveness of Res Judicata in Ongoing Tax Law Relationships.

This work delves into the subject matter of Opinion PGFN/CRJ No. 492/2011, which the author conceived. The matter has two general repercussions recognized by the STF (Supreme Federal Court), Themes 881 and 885, which are scheduled for judgment by the STF Plenary on May 11, 2022.

In this new publication, Claudio Seefelder addresses the issue of whether or not the effectiveness of res judicata in tax matters contrary to the Federal Constitution ceases.
