Professor Dr. Claudio Seefelder gives a lecture on the Spending Cap Fiscal Regime and the new proposal for a Sustainable Fiscal Regime for undergraduate students.

Today the Dr. Jurandi Ferreira de Souza Neto, Attorney for the National Treasury and currently Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Planning and Budget, was the guest of Professor Dr. Claudio Seefelder to give a lecture on the Fiscal Regime of the Spending Cap (Constitutional Amendment No. 95 of 2016) and the new proposal of Sustainable Fiscal Regime (PLP No. 93 of 2023), with voting in the Chamber of Deputies scheduled for today, 05/23/2023) to undergraduate students of Financial Law at IDP.

The presentation aimed to contextualize the models, highlighting their main points and criticisms. At the end of the presentation, students were able to discuss and ask questions about the topics under debate. This initiative is part of Professor Claudio Seefelder's proposal to integrate his classes with presentations on relevant topics within the subject matter, featuring qualified individuals with significant involvement in the development of the subject within the Federal Government.
