In 2019, professors Geraldo Sandoval Góes and Sérgio Ricardo de Brito Gadelha published, through the publisher JUSPODIVM, the book "Macroeconomics: Recommended for Competitive Exams, Undergraduate Studies, and Professionals". This book fills a gap among the macroeconomics textbooks available on the market. It is a complete and detailed work that covers all the concepts necessary for the training of a macroeconomist.

Throughout more than 800 pages, the authors discuss, in a didactic way, the theoretical and conceptual foundations and their practical application, with solved and proposed exercises at the end of each chapter, in addition to including a chapter on macroeconomic modeling and the DSGE approach.

This book is intended for anyone seeking a solid and comprehensive education in macroeconomics and wishing to understand macroeconomic policy, its fundamentals, and applications. It is an excellent academic manual and is already included in the curriculum of important courses, such as the Professional Master's Program in Public Policy and Development at the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA), the postgraduate course in Economics at the Austrian School of the Mises Institute Brazil, and the undergraduate course in Economics at the Catholic University of Brasília.

In summary, this is recommended reading for undergraduate students in Economics and for students in the Professional Master's Program in Economics at IDP, as well as for professionals working in economic areas and sectoral public policies of the government.
