The courses are aimed at advanced academic and professional training based on studies in the research areas of Fundamental Rights and Constitutional Jurisdiction.
The classes are taught by a qualified faculty, comprised of prominent academics in the legal field, including members of relevant public careers, researchers, and lawyers. Names that are part of the curriculum include: Prof. Dr. Nelson Rosenvald, Prof. Dr. Marilda Silveira, Prof. Dr. and Supreme Court Justice Gilmar Mendes, Prof. Dr. Osmar Paixão, and Prof. Dr. Flávia Piovesan.
IDP also has agreements with foreign institutions, enabling master's and doctoral students to take short courses or study periods at universities such as the University of Granada (Spain), the Nova University of Lisbon (Portugal), and American University (Washington, USA).

The Master's program, lasting four academic semesters, is intended for professionals with a degree in Law or related fields, with or without a specialization.
