IDP Regulation
The IDP's Regulatory area acts strategically to guarantee quality, regularity, and institutional recognition with the competent bodies, especially the Ministry of Education (MEC) and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).
Working in an integrated manner across academic and administrative areas, the team is responsible for monitoring and conducting the institution's regulatory processes, ensuring that courses and programs comply with legal guidelines and are aligned with the standards of excellence in higher education.
Operation
The Regulatory team is responsible for the management and ongoing monitoring of institutional processes, including institutional accreditation and reaccreditation, authorization, recognition and renewal of recognition of courses, as well as monitoring quality indicators and external evaluations.
Within the scope of stricto sensu postgraduate studies, the area also monitors regulatory processes with CAPES, including the proposal of new programs, the maintenance and updating of information in official systems, and the monitoring of evaluation cycles.
Furthermore, it provides support to academic coordinators in the regulatory compliance of courses and programs, as well as in the preparation and monitoring of evaluation processes and on-site visits.
IDP maintains systematic control over deadlines, stages, and requirements of regulatory bodies, ensuring efficiency in processing procedures, agility in meeting regulatory demands, and institutional security. This continuous action allows for anticipating needs, ensuring the updating of institutional information, and keeping all academic offerings duly compliant.
