[vc_row] [vc_column] [vc_column_text]IDP, through its Business Community initiative, will hold the first edition of Startup Weekend IDP on November 17th, 18th, and 19th. The event aims to foster entrepreneurship, creativity, and teamwork among the Institution's students, as well as involve people from the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Federal District with IDP itself and its students.
“IDP’s Startup Weekend is a relevant starting point to help our students develop business ideas, allowing them to leave the event with more concrete and structured ideas. The participation of external mentors and professors means that, in addition to everything else, it is a networking event and a way for our students to connect with important people in the DF scene,” said IDP professor and coordinator Bruno Saboya.
The IDP Startup Weekend is a three-day event that brings together entrepreneurs, developers, and experts from different fields to work on projects to create companies. During the event, participants have the opportunity to transform their ideas into businesses, learn new skills, and meet other entrepreneurs. In addition, they have access to experienced mentors and guest speakers who share their knowledge and experiences. The goal of Startup Weekend is to accelerate the process of creating new businesses by providing a collaborative and highly focused environment to test and validate business ideas in a short period. The event is held regularly in various cities around the world and has been a success everywhere.
To register for the 2023 IDP Startup Weekend, you just need to be an IDP student. No experience with startups or a business idea is necessary. Teams will be formed on the first day of the event, and the winning team will receive a prize of R$ 1.500,00. All participating students will also receive a certificate for 25 complementary hours.
